Welcome to The Victoria Readers’ Write.
We hope in time our service would help more people to understand and communicate in English globally.

I take this opportunity to share with you my thirty-five years of experience and knowledge in the teaching of the English language to non-native and native speakers of the language. Presently, we have a programme along with a kit-set to teach basic reading skills using a systematic approach to phonetics.

2013 Highlight

The Victoria Readers' Programme in Ulusaba, South Africa

While holidaying at Sir Richard Branson's Private Game Reserve in Ulusaba, South Africa, Victoria Wong Tsae Ling, the director of The Victoria Readers' Sdn Bhd, visited one of the seven creches set up by Pride'N Purpose, the charitable arm of Virgin Unite, which is committed to helping the disadvantaged communities living near the Sabi Sand Reserve.

On learning that a child can master the English Language using phonetic and proven methods of teaching; since its implementation in kindergartens and tuition centres in December 1994 in Malaysia, the project-coordinator Mr David Khoza requested a briefing on the system for the teachers in the crech. After that, the teachers are convinced that it can be used to teach their 500 children in the seven creches, whose ages range from 0 to 7 years. The project-coordinator then requested Victoria's help to conduct a series of courses in November 2012 for their principals and teachers in partnership with Pride 'N Purpose.

The highlight of being a volunteer at the Safari Park is one gets to go on free game drives, whenever there is a space available.During one such rides, Victoria managed to capture on her camera video a leopard playing with a month-old impala, which it had caught. Karl Langdon, the general manager of the Game Reserve, was so thrilled that she had it down-loaded for him to send to National Geographic.

" The experience has been life-changing not only for me but for the teachers as well. Upon my return after a month's coaching, I realize how fortunate our children are in Malaysia, where textbooks and all kinds of teaching aids are easily available. My greatest joy is to be able to witness the first four children taught by the teachers in the first week of training, reading their first few sentences in English before I left after a month."
